L’Oreal Infallible Full Wear Concealer Video Demo: And I love that it’s better on the pockets at regular price AND you can come up on a 40% off or a BOGO deal somewhere as the drugstores tend to do. I would go so far as to say this is better than Tarte Shape Tape especially since the color range is better for deeper skin. This could change as the weather warms up, but careful layering and not using too much product between layers can help curb any kind of concealer disappearing issues (check out on IG-she’s the queen of the under eye concealer techniques). I love the creamy formula and had no creasing under my eyes while testing it on a few occasions for over 8 hours each time. *IF* I were to contour with concealer, I could use any number of the shades after Cocoa depending on how contoured I wanted to look. Shade 420 Cocoa was a beautiful color to cover the discoloration under my eyes. I would use more of a darker orange undertone and someone darker than me might use something that has more of a deep red undertone. you wouldn’t use a light orange on someone my complexion-it will just highlight the discoloration and do the opposite). The darker your skin, the deeper the shade of orange or red you’d go with (i.e. Only downside with Fenty is that there’s just that one formula so far.īTW: for darker skin, when you want to cancel out discoloration (which on us tends to look dark brown or black) you want a concealer either with an orange-y undertone or reddish undertone to cover it. In case you were wondering, the best concealer shade range I’ve come across in recent years is hands down the Fenty Beauty Pro Fil’r Concealer-I had like 6 or 7 choices based on whatever look I had in mind JUST for my under eye area. Now, there are a few gaps in L’Oreal Infallible Full Wear Concealer’s shade range (but also keep in mind that a single concealer shade could be used on a number of skin tones), but they are still much better than the Tarte shade range just by virtue of having some warmer toned shades. L’Oreal Infallible Full Wear Concealer gives you a similar applicator and packaging as Tarte Shape Tape, formula seems similar enough (I’ve tried Tarte Shape Tape and reviewed it here, but don’t have it do a side-by-side with the L’Oreal), but the L’Oreal shade range is SO much better. But I personally need warmer toned concealers to be in the mix especially for discoloration-particularly under the eye area. Also not bad if you’re just using it to contour (although me, myself personally, I like to contour with a cream foundation as it’s less concentrated than concealer). Not bad if you already have a cool undertone and you don’t have a lot of discoloration to conceal. It seemed (at the time of me trying) that all the darker shades were cooler tones. So I thought Tarte Shape Tape had an amazing formula, but chile, that shade range. (These concealers were sent to me for review consideration) A little goes a long way! Available in 25 full coverage shades for every skin tone. Our waterproof, non-greasy formula won’t transfer, fade, or flake so your full coverage look is locked in all day. Our extra large applicator provides maximum coverage in one stroke to cover under-eye circles, acne scars, and discoloration. Shape your face by going 1-2 shades deeper to contour and 1-2 shades lighter to highlighter and brighten. This multi-use formula conceals imperfections while doubling as a contour/highlight product. L’Oréal Paris Full Wear Concealer provides full coverage with a flawless matte finish. New Full Wear Concealer is our highest coverage formula in our widest concealer shade range ever. Experience full-on coverage and full-face wear for up to 24 hours. This is a quick review, so I like to be as quick with the details as possible in these type of posts, so let’s go… Good day, party people! I’m back here with a quick review and video demo of the L’Oreal Infallible Full Wear Concealer and to talk about it possibly being a dupe (a better dupe at that) for Tarte Shape Tape.
